Getting There.

Ryanair fly from Birmingham and London Stansted direct to Perpignan and the site is only 20 minutes from the airport.  For those choosing not to hire a car, taxis are available just outside 'Arrivals'.  A very popular alternative is to fly to Girona.  This destination is listed as Barcelona-Girona and the airport is a pleasant one hour journey from LePreCatalan.  If you put Barcelona-Girona into the Ryanair website you will see that they fly there very cheaply from a large number of airports in England, Scotland and Ireland. These include Luton, Gatwick, Manchester, Newcastle, Newquay, Leeds, Liverpool, Bristol, Glagow, Dublin, Belfast and many more.  Alternative destination airports for LePreCatalan include Barcelona itself,  Carcassonne, Toulouse, Beziers and Montpellier.  Don't hesitate to contact me for advice about flights, journey times , car-hire etc. A popular alternative is to use the cross-chanel ferries and drive down.  The roads are superb and this is a great way to see more of France.  A third method of travel to the site is by train to Perpignan.  If the budget allows, a journey from Paris on the TGV takes just 5 hours.
